A little over 3 months ago, my 10 year old pitbull Daisy slipped a disc in the cervical spine region. This is a chronic problem she has had for years but this time was far, far worse than we've ever seen her. She could barely walk, barely move her head, and was starting to lose nerve sensation in her right foot. After a month of drug therapy and rest with no real improvement, my vet recommended we try acupuncture before pursuing spinal surgery. I was skeptical, but willing to try anything that might give my girl some relief. Dr Fraser was optimistic from the start that we could get Daisy up and walking pain-free with a few treatments and herbal supplements. After all, she's 10 years old. I didn't need her to be able to complete an agility course, just be able to get around comfortably. She showed improvement after her first treatment and improved more and more with each additional session. She had a setback when she started feeling better and thinking she could do more than she could, but we got her back on track and now she is up walking, running (!), and climbing stairs again. I'm so grateful for Dr Fraser and her gentle expertise. She saved my dog from months of pain and depression, and me thousands of dollars in potential surgical costs. I'm an acupuncture believer!
